Furniture: Kids Loft Beds
Many families are discovering the value of kids loft beds, for the convenience and space-saving measures they employ. A loft is a perfect way to outfit a childs room, because everyone wins. A loft design usually includes some wooden scaffolding which raises the bed high off the floor, sometimes at heights of 6 feet or more. Because the bed is so high, the area under the bed takes on a whole new meaning.
Now your kids rooms can act as two rooms: one to sleep in and one in which to play. Because you can now use the entire floor space for non-sleeping activities, you have more space in which to put your childs toys. In addition, you can (for the first time) add a desk on which your child can work. Kids loft beds make it all possible because it literally doubles the amount of space that is available.
Safety and Kids Loft Beds
Of course, the first thought that comes to any concerned parents mind is, Is there any danger of my child falling out of the loft while he is asleep? If a child falls off the bed, the only repercussions are usually comedic; rarely is there a serious injury. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said in the case of kids loft beds.
The utmost care has been taken in insuring your childs safety while asleep in his or her loft bed. There are always installed guardrails, the height of which are built to parents specifications. The last reason why kids loft beds are so popular lies with the kids themselves: they love them! Kids adore being able to climb into bed, literally, using a ladder. It increases the fun of going to bed, and this makes parents happy as well.
